Storage And Transport

WARNING:

When temporarily storing the driver's airbag (SRS) it must be positioned with the metal side (reverse side) down in a well protected site.

NOTE:

For longer storage periods (unattended storage) the airbags, inflatable curtains and other pyrotechnical SRS components must be stored in the original packaging (wire wool packaging) at a dedicated site

WARNING:

In the event of a fire at the storage site, the fire authorities must be informed of the presence of pyrotechnical SRS components according to the relevant national statutory requirements.

NOTE:

Loose inflatable curtains (IC) must always be stored in inflatable curtain (IC) racks, or in other approved packaging.

WARNING:

Inflatable curtains must not be exposed to temperatures above 110 °C.

Airbags and pyrotechnical SRS components must be transported according to the relevant national statutory requirements.
