Climate control unit, replacing: Removal

Remove: 

Disconnect the connectors by screwing the connectors upwards so that the threads release. Then remove the connectors.

Additional work in the engine compartment on cars with air conditioning (A/C)

Remove the heat deflector plate on the bulkhead. See Replacing the heat shield for the thermostatic expansion valve .

Remove the locking bracket for the refrigerant pipes

Work in the passenger compartment 

Remove: 

NOTE:

Move the front seat as far back as possible. Protect the floor and sills.

The climate control unit and the member from the bodywork 

Remove:

Remove: 

Pull the member for the climate control unit backwards a little.
