Replacing the pilot bearing

Press out the pilot bearing from the drive shaft

Use jointed ring 9992853 . Support the socket and shaft as shown.

Install the new bearing on the shaft

Use press ring 9995491 as support against the bearing. Turn it as shown.

Position socket 9992842 at the base of the universal joint.

Press the bearing against its seating on the shaft.
