Lowering the sub-frame

Use the mobile jack. Lower the sub-frame approximately 140 mm.

Hang the steering gear from a tie strap.

The steering shaft must not slide out of the rubber boot.

Carefully lower the sub-frame. Let it hang free.

NOTE:

Ensure that the screws for the steering gear on the left side release from the frame.
