Replacing The Coolant Pump: Preparation

Install lock grip pliers on the upper radiator hose.

Raise the car.

Remove the lower engine splash guard.

Install lock grip pliers on the lower radiator hose.

Open the engine nipple. Drain coolant into a container. Close the nipple.

Remove timing belt according to Replacing the timing belt .
