Removing the height adjuster

Remove the seat from the car. See Removing power seats, tilting .

Remove:

the seat frame. See The seat frame
the bracket and cross member. See Bracket and cross member .

Remove:

the connector
wiring
the spring. See Tension spring .

Remove:

two plus two screws on the right hand side of the transmission
two plus one screws on the left hand side.
