Installing the whiplash unit on non-folding seats

Install a new whiplash element.

Install:

a new spring
the bracket
a new Torx screw and tighten. See: Summary of tightening torques for specific components

Install:

the shaft
the bushing
the lock nut, tighten the M8 screw and the nut. See: Summary of tightening torques for specific components .

Slide the entire whiplash unit up towards the backrest frame.

Hook on the spring using 9512943 .

Reinstall the upholstery.

Install:

the 4 x M10 screws for the backrest frame
the cover
the side panel.
