Removing seat frame

Carry out Lifting front seats in and out .

Remove the SIPS bag and seat heater connectors and wiring.

Release the wiring from the backrest.

Remove: 

• two screws per side and the fitting.

• the 5 half moon clips from each side of the underside cushion.

• the 4 half moon clips from the underside cushion.

• the 3 half moon clips from rear edge of the underside.

• One half moon clip from each side.

  The bottom is located in the spring.

Fold up the upholstery.

Remove: 

• the connectors and wiring from the cross stay.

• the two screwed joints on the cross stay.

• one nut and two washers for the rear height adjuster mounting.

• one nut for the front height adjuster mounting.

• the outer nut.

Pull straight out.

Angle the rail and the seat base so that they come apart.

Angle and turn the gas strut.
