The seat from the car

Remove the seat from the car.

NOTE:

When removing a seat from a car with side airbags, the seat must be grounded. This is due to the danger of static electricity.

When the screws have been removed and before the seat is lifted out of the car:

Take a long cable.

Strip off the insulation at both ends.

Secure one end to the rear mounting on the seat (the metal colored mounting).

Secure the other end in the car or to the car lift.
