Mark the center of the bore hole using a sliding caliper with precision 0,05 mm.
Make a few parallel markings using the clipped sheet metal as counterstay. This measurement is only applicable if the piece of metal lies at the door as in the illustration. The thickness of the sheet metal must be added. Therefore, the thickness of the piece of sheet metal must be measured extremely carefully.
1 = 35.37 (+ metal thickness).
2 = 20.73 (+ metal thickness).
