Repairing Cable Harnesses

NOTE:

If an airbag(s) has deployed, the cable harness must be checked. See Checking the collision cable .

NOTE:

If an airbag(s) has deployed, the status of the reserve battery must be checked. See Checking the reserve battery .

The following terminals are for Volvo On Call: 

The connector at the SRS (supplemental restraint system) control module: Terminal B28 /yellow/white cable).

Connector at the keypad: Terminal 17 (Yellow/white cable).

Repair the cable harness. See Cable harness SRS system, repair .

NOTE:

The cable between the carphone and SRS (supplemental restraint system) control modules (yellow/white) is joined in the cable harness and is routed to the central electronic module.
