Headlamp/Bulb, Replacing: Removal: Headlamps

- Switch off the ignition
- Set the switch for external lighting to zero
- Remove the front turn signal lamp. See Turn signal lamps, replacing
- Remove the headlamp wiper arm and the headlamp wiper motor. See Wiper arm and wiper motor, headlamp, replacing
- Remove the bumper casing on the relevant side. Remove the clips above the grille. See Casing, bumper front, replacing
- Carefully pry the casing down and out. Remove the innermost and the outermost screws for the headlamp
- Remove the uppermost screws from the headlamp
- Remove the headlamp.NOTE:
Completely remove the bumper cover when removing both headlamps.

- Parking lamps
- Dipped beam
- High beam.
NOTE:
From week 0026 inclusive, the parking lamps in the US market will be integrated in the headlamp unit rather than in the turn signal lamps.
If replacing the headlamp on a car manufactured prior to week 0026, the parking lamp remains integrated in the turn signal lamps so that both headlamps are configured in the same way. If the parking lamp lights in the headlamp unit, remove the bulb for the parking lamp.
