Replacing the engine cooling fan (FC): Finishing

Carefully lower the fan shroud and align it with the holes at the sides of the radiator. 

Tighten both the mounting screws.

Connect the engine cooling fan (FC) connectors.

Press the hose down from expansion tank into the holder on the fan shroud.

Automatics only:  Install the upper oil cooler hose.

Secure the wiring with tie straps as before.

Reinstall the charge air pipe.

Screw the EGR valve into place on the fan shroud.

Install the air cleaner (ACL) intake manifold and locate it against the sleeve connector above the air conditioning aggregate.

Install the coolant hose on the control module box.

Connect the battery negative cable. Also read Battery, disconnecting .
