Windscreen removal

Open bonnet.

Remove the windscreen wipers.

Loosen the plenum covering as described in Cowl, replacing and pull it forwards in the carriage.

Remove the strips along the A pillars and the roof as described in Weatherstrips and trim strips .

Remove: 

NOTE:

Be careful not to damage the paint. Tape the A pillars with masking tape.

Pierce the wire through the PUR glue from the inside and out.

Pull through the wire from the outside using long nose pliers.

Fix the wire in the draw-handle on the outside and in the counterhold on the inside of the car.

Two people: 

Press the counterhold as firmly as possible against the edge. Pull steadily on the draw-handle from the outside with uniform force.

Pause now and again and move the counterhold gradually forward.

"Saw" past the corners. Be extra careful near the roof edge strip.

Be careful not to damage the equipment and paint.

Install the suction cups 9512335 on the window and lift it out.
