Removing the backrest (40%)

Fold up or remove the cushion(s) according to Cushion .
Remove:
- the side cushion according to Side cushion, replacing
- the lock side piece according to Lock side piece
- the backrest lock according to Backrest catches
- the backrest panel
- the outer head restraint according to Outer head restraint
- the half moon clips at the bottom of the backrest by first opening the zip fastener
- the half moon clips in the channels
- the moldings on the frame.
Move the guide to the side.
NOTE:
To remove the larger cushion, first remove the smaller cushion.
- Remove the backrest(s)
- Remove the two screws from the end mounting (48 Nm)
- Remove the stop(s) from the seat belt buckle on the fold-down mechanism (hooked into place on the lower edge of the backrest).
