General information

Terminal with integrated cable designated "cable terminal", certain cases "service terminal".

Black marking = terminal's surface treatment is gold. Marking introduced running from second quarter 2008.

CAUTION:

If new components are supplied with a section of new wiring, the equivalent wiring section in the vehicle must be substituted with the new section.

Due to oxidation and galvanic currents, female and male connections with the same surface treatment should be used.

Example of different surface treatments: Gold (Au), Silver (Ag), Tin (Sn)

The type of surface treatment on the connector can only be determined by inspection the male connector's pins with a magnifying glass.
