Installing the sealing ring for the outer joint on the drive shaft

NOTE:

On early version cars without a sealing ring, a sealing ring can be installed, P/N 949 2980

Check that the sealing ring is undamaged.

Install the sealing ring for the constant velocity joint housing as shown in the illustration.
