Draining coolant

Remove

WARNING:

Avoid skin contact with the coolant.

Use protective equipment.

HINT: Thread hoses onto the relevant nipple to collect the coolant. This will prevent spillage. 

Open the nipples 

The nipple for draining the engine is located on the pipe from the thermostat housing, above the front engine mounting.

The nipple for draining coolant is on the lower left section of the radiator.

Drain the coolant into a container.

Close the nipples.

Install the protective covers under the radiator and engine.
