Installing rear end mountings (second row)

NOTE:

Install:

the end mounting
1 M10 screw. Tighten.

Move any hoses for the air conditioning (A/C) system back into place.

Install the sill trim panel. See: Sill trim panel, replacing .

Press the seat belt into the end mounting.

NOTE:

A clear click is heard when the seat belt has locked correctly with the end mounting.

NOTE:

Also check that the seat belt has locked correctly with the end mounting by looking at the reverse of the end mounting.

The position of the lock facing against the end mounting, with the seat belt fully inserted, must be:

"A " in Fig 2 = Correctly locked position.

"B " in Fig 2 = If the lock facing does not lock correctly with the end mounting, replace the end mounting with a new one, referring to "A ".

NOTE:

Check that the seat belt is secure by jerking it hard in an upwards direction.
