Removing the pressure lines

NOTE: The graphic displays previous versions, up to and including 2004. From and including 2005 the pressure pipe is secured by a screw and washer.
WARNING: Avoid skin contact with the oil.

Protect the generator (GEN).

Place paper over the generator (GEN) as protection against oil.

Remove the control module coolant pipe.

Install lock grip pliers on the power steering pump return hose.

Remove the pressure line from the power steering pump.
