Identification of power steering pump

Power steering pumps with max pressure 10-11 MPa, designated as pump A in the procedure.
Power steering pumps with max pressure 11-12 MPa, designated as pump B in the procedure.
Pump A:
- S60, S80, V70, XC70 with gasoline and diesel engines up to and including 2003 week 09
- S60, V70, XC70 with gasoline and diesel engines from and including 2003 week 10 (does not apply to B5244T4, B5244T5, B5254T2)
- S80 with the following engines: B5244S, S2, SG, SG2 and B5204T from and including 2003 week 10.
Pump B:
- S60 R and V70 R
- S80 with diesel engines from and including 2003 week 10
- V70, XC70, S60, S80 with the following engines from and including week 10 2003: B5244T4, B5244T5, B5254T2.
