Modification of auxiliary heater: Preparations

Assemble the installation kit (pos. 2+3) first regardless of if the car has rear-mounted fuel pump or not, depending on fuel type, 5-cylinder or 6-cylinder engine, and continue to the next step.

Replace the coolant hoses to and from the fuel heater if these are damaged, see VIDA which are to be used for which vehicle/engine version.
