Checking for leakage

Remove the front passenger seat. See Front seat, replacing .
Take the front seat to a secluded location in the workshop, away from the body and paint shop.
Remove the pressure sensor/cushion. See Removing the Occupant weight sensor (OWS) .
Check if the pressure sensor/cushion is sticky anywhere; If this is the case, silicon is leaking.
CAUTION:
The leaking pressure sensor/cushion must be placed in a plastic bag and sealed with tape. The plastic bag must be disposed of according to the workshop procedure for silicon waste.
