Adjusting the parking brake

Detach the dust boot on the parking brake lever (pull straight up).

Fold up the plastic cover.

Adjust the parking brake.

NOTE: Full brake effect can be obtained between the second and fifth ratchet teeth. Check so that the parking brake is not constantly applied.

NOTE: After replacing the brake shoes for the parking brake the car must be test driven and the parking brake adjusted if necessary.
