Installing the spring

Use hydraulic piston: 9512911 using claw: 9512913 and extension rod: 9512937 .

Compress the new spring. Thread it into the control arm.

NOTE:

Ensure that the spring is gripped in the same place as the old spring.

Install:

the spring in the control arm
the striker plate: 9997079
the grommet
release the spring.

Remove the hydraulic piston: 9512911 using claw: 9512913 and extension rod: 9512937 .

NOTE:

Lubricate the rubber ring using soap solution for easier installation.

Twist the spring until there is a clearance (A) of 15 mm between the end of the spring and the raised portion of the control arm.
