Removing The Spring Strut

Remove:

the wheel
the anti-roll bar link from the spring strut.

NOTE:

Use a Torx wrench as a counterhold so that the boot is not damaged.

Remove the ABS line from the bracket on the spring strut.

Remove both the nuts from the screws in the spring strut - wheel spindle.

Remove the two screws for the spring strut wheel spindle.
Secure the wheel spindle with a piece of wire so that it cannot turn outwards when removed from the spring strut.

Remove:

the three nuts holding the shock absorber support plate in the bodywork
the spring strut.
