Removing The Backrest

In the cargo compartment

Remove the protective cover from the handle for the backrest lock
Pull the handle to release the backrest
Remove the floor carpet.

In the passenger compartment

Remove

the two seat cushions. Pull straight up
the side cushion according to Side cushion

Remove

the connector on the left and right-hand sides
the screws on the left and right-hand sides.

Carefully fold the backrest forward approximately 5-6 centimeters. Do not damage the center console.

Remove

the two screws from the reinforcement strut

Lift out the backrest
