Removing the roof trim

Preparations:

Grasp the trim and feel where the clips (1) are positioned (the molding does not sag as much where the clips are positioned)
Remove the roof trim by angling the trim outwards and upwards (there are 12 mounting points in the roof and four on the A-post).

Twist off the trim as shown.

Release the reference clip (2) at the windshield by lifting the catches (3) on the clip.
