Replacing the shock absorber

The absorber is secured with 8 tongues which in the casing and pins (x4) which are located in the holes through the casing and the damper.

There is absorbent foam between the shock absorber and the casing.

Remove: 

Knock out the four pins.

Unhook the tongues from the casing.

Remove shock absorber and the absorbent material.

Install: 

In reverse order 

Use new pins.
