Checking the wiring

Check the power cable for a short-circuit to ground.

Take readings between:

Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A39 (#A39) and mass air flow (MAF) sensor terminal #4
Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A39 (#A39) and boost pressure sensor terminal #3
Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A39 (#A39) and air conditioning (A/C) pressure sensor terminal #3
Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A39 (#A39) and oil level sensor terminal #3
Engine control module (ECM) terminal #A39 (#A39) and fuel pressure sensor terminal #3.

Read off the 5-volt power supply by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.

Remedy as necessary.
