Checking Wiring And Terminals
HINT: With the ignition on and the reset valve connector disconnected, the voltage at connector terminal #1 must be approximately Ubat and at connector terminal #2 it must be a pulse width modulated signal with a peak voltage of approximately Ubat and with a frequency of approximately 250 Hz.
Check the resistance between connector terminals #1 and #2 on the camshaft reset valve. The resistance must be approximately 3.7 Ω.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A12 (#A12) and connector terminal #2 (on the camshaft reset valve). Check for an open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary.
