Checking The Wiring

Check the resistance between connector terminal #1 and terminal #2 on the camshaft reset valve. The resistance must be approximately 3.7 Ω.

Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A12 and connector terminal #2 (on the camshaft reset valve). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
