Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-620A

Condition 

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the idling speed is 100 RPM lower or 200 RPM higher than the nominal idling speed.

There are diagnostics for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) with the engine at operating temperature (>80 °C), the car stationary and idling.

High 

• Search the air and fuel supplies in the fuel system for the fault cause (air leakage, blockages, etc.).

Low 

• Search the air and fuel supplies in the fuel system for the fault cause (air leakage, blockages, etc.).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
• High idling speed
• Low idling speed.
