Checking the component and wiring

Check the reference voltage cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A58 (#A60) and manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor terminal #3. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for an open-circuit.

Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A23 (#A23) and manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor terminal #1. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Remedy as necessary.
