Checking mass air flow (MAF) sensor signal

• Start engine and run to normal operating temperature.

  • Switch of all large power consuming components, for example the air conditioning (A/C) compressor, defroster and seat heaters.
  • Read off the air mass. Check that the air mass is within its various ranges at different engine speeds (RPM) according to Mass air flow (MAF) sensor .

Are these values OK? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
