Checking wiring and connectors

Check the control module and outside temperature sensor connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation , and loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) .

Check the signal cable between control module connector #B29 (#B41) and outside temperature sensor terminal 1 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .

Check the ground lead between control module #B4 (#B16) and outside temperature sensor terminal 2 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
