Throttle Body (Electronic Throttle Module (ETM)), Replacing (For B6xx4Sx, -2001): Removing

Remove: 

• Disconnect the negative battery lead. See Battery, Disconnecting
• the dipstick tube

Remove the intake manifold between the throttle body (TB) and the air cleaner.

If the wiring to the throttle body is behind the bracket for the starter motor:

Slacken off the nuts (x 2).

Remove the screw.

Remove any tie straps and disconnect the connector for the throttle body.

Route the wiring for the throttle body from the reverse of the bracket for the starter motor.

Remove the 4x screws for the throttle body.
