Draining the rear gas tank if the solenoid valve is OK
- Drain the gas pipe. See Gas pipe, draining
- Raise the car
- Remove the guard for the rear gas tank
- Close the valve for the engine gas pipe using an Allen key
- Lower the car
- Open the pipe coupling under the floor
- Connect the drain pipe to the line from the gas tank. Use connection thread 7/16"-20 UNF
- Open the solenoid valve for gas draining
- Connect the 12 V power supply to the solenoid valve
- Carefully open the manual valve for the engine gas pipe.
NOTE:
The valve must only be opened enough to release the maximum equivalent of 3 times the amount of gas that the engine requires under full load. Otherwise the pipe break valve closes.
If the pipe break valve closes the gas flow, close the manual valve for the engine gas pipe and open again.
Alternative 1: Lead off the gas to a burner which is set up securely.
Alternative 2: Lead off the gas to a compressor with a storage tank.
