Replacing the throttle body (electronic throttle module): Overview

Removing the throttle unit

Remove: 

• the hose between the throttle unit and the air cleaner (ACL) housing
• the connector for the throttle unit
• the cable from the clip on the throttle unit
• the vacuum hoses
• the screws
• the throttle unit
• the gasket.

Installing the throttle unit

Install: 

• the throttle unit. Use a new gasket  . Tighten to 10 Nm 
• the vacuum hoses
• the connector for the throttle unit
• the cable in the clip on the throttle unit
• the hose between the throttle unit and the air cleaner (ACL) housing.

Remedy as necessary.
