Checking for air leakage in the exhaust system (1999): Engagement

CAUTION:

If the car has been driven recently the exhaust system may be very hot. Allow it to cool down a little. Otherwise the special tool may get burnt.

Install tool 9995546 and pressure regulator 9995544 on the exhaust system.

Adjust the pressure to 0.4 bar . Depending on the condition of the exhaust system a lower pressure may be necessary.
