Removing the rear engine pad
Preparation
Remove
- the screw holding the mounting for the torque rod at the bracket on the engine
- the screws for the engine stabilizer brace mounting on the suspension turrets
- the engine stabilizer brace.
Remove
- the upper nut for the rear engine pad.
Raise the car
Remove
- the splash guard under the engine.
Remove
- both the screws for the mounting and the brake pipe from the snap fastener
- angle the mountings forward
- the catalytic converter member.
Remove
- the bracket for the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) from the sub-frame
- the lower screw for the engine pad.
