Removing the rear engine pad

Preparation 

Remove 

• the screw holding the mounting for the torque rod at the bracket on the engine
• the screws for the engine stabilizer brace mounting on the suspension turrets
• the engine stabilizer brace.

Remove 

• the upper nut for the rear engine pad.

Raise the car

Remove 

• the splash guard under the engine.

Remove 

• both the screws for the mounting and the brake pipe from the snap fastener
• angle the mountings forward
• the catalytic converter member.

Remove 

• the bracket for the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) from the sub-frame
• the lower screw for the engine pad.
