Removing the timing gear pulley

Install adjustment tool 9995452 at the rear of the camshafts. Screw the adjustment tool sections together into one.

Remove: 

• the center plugs for the variable valve timing units
  NOTE:

  Oil may drain from the VVT-units, use paper or similar to wipe up any oil

• VVT-units' center screws. Carefully pull out the belt pulley with the VVT-unit. Remove tool 9995452 .
