Checking the Wires
Check wire between oil pressure guard 1 and engine control unit 26A for a short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage. Permanent Faults , a short circuit to ground as described in Short-Circuit To Ground, Permanent Faults and an open circuit as described in Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults .
HINT: The voltage should be 0 V in 1 with closed oil pressure contact (lamp on) and 12 V with an open circuit (lamp off).
Do the necessary corrective action.
