Removing The Drive Shaft From The Wheel Hub

Pull out the spring strut and remove the drive shaft from the hub. Hold the spring strut to one side using a tensioning strap for more space when removing the drive shaft.

CAUTION:

On later version vehicles, there is a rubber seal on the outer constant velocity joint. Do not damage the seal. It will be needed for installation.
