Remove The Drive Shaft From The Transmission

First Remove The Splash Guard Under The Engine. See Remove The Splash Guard Under The Engine

Use Jimmy Tool 9995681 On The Drive Shaft.

NOTE:

Pull The Constant Velocity Joint, Not The Drive Shaft Joints, When Removing The Drive Shaft. There Is No Axle Pinion.

NOTE:

Take Care Not To Damage The Drive Shaft When Removing It From The Transmission.

CAUTION:

Later Models Have A Rubber Seal On The Constant Velocity Joint. Do Not Damage The Seal. It Will Be Needed For Installation.
