Installing The Active On Demand Coupling And The Final Drive On The Mobile jack
Position the lower cover and the Active on Demand coupling and final drive on the mobile jack. Tighten the hose clamp over the Active on Demand coupling / final drive and the universal plate.
Lubricate the lips on the sealing rings for the drive shafts. Use grease 1161241-3.
Press the drive shafts into place in the final drive housing.
Pull the inner joint housings to check that the circlips on the shafts have engaged in their channels on the final drive
CAUTION:
Be very careful when positioning the shaft in the resting position. The inner joint may be damaged if the shaft releases under its own weight.
