Only front brakes
Press back the pistons in the brake caliper with a large screwdriver.
NOTE:
The brake pads are marked with an arrow on the reverse which must point downwards.
Grease the brake pad mating surfaces towards the brake caliper using silicone grease, part no. 1161687 (12 ml) or part no. 1161688 (50 ml)
Install:
- brake pads.
- the shims on the back of the brake pad
- damping spring
- lock pins.
NOTE:
Shims shall not be installed on vehicles with vibration damper or on vehicles from and incl. chassis number S60 466813-.
