Intermittent fault

Check the control module and power door mirror connectors for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation , check for loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) .

If the car is equipped with a 10-pin connector

Check the cable between door control module terminal #8B and power door mirror terminal #6 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults , check for an intermittent open circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .

If the car is equipped with a 16-pin connector

Check the cable between door control module terminal #8B and power door mirror terminal #13 for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults , check for an intermittent open circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .

Check the bulb holder and bulb if no fault was found.
