Checking the Component

Check that nothing is preventing the screen from closing.

Check fuse no. 18 in the integrated relay/fusebox in the passenger compartment.

Check the cable between display screen terminal #J18 and control module terminal #C12 for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-Circuit To Supply Voltage. Permanent Faults , for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-Circuit To Ground, Permanent Faults and for an open-circuit according to Open-Circuit, Permanent Faults .

Remedy as necessary.

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
