Installing the GPS antenna

Take the GPS antenna from the kit and clean the underneath using isopropanol P/N 1161721. Wipe dry.

Take the double-sided adhesive tape from the kit and remove the white backing film from the tape.

Press in the double-sided adhesive tape firmly on the underneath of the GPS antenna.

Clean the marked surface on the parcel shelf using isopropanol P/N 1161721 for mounting the GPS antenna. Wipe dry.

Take the GPS antenna (1) and press it in the rear edge on the parcel shelf in the position as shown in the illustration.
Route the cable to the GPS antenna along the existing cable for the loudspeaker, inside the holder (2) for the seatbelt.
Clamp at the points (3) with tie straps from the kit.
Route the cable through the hole at the front edge of the wheel housing, out to the cargo compartment.
NOTE:
Make sure that the cable does not chafe against sharp edges.
